SharkNinja Modern Slavery / Transparency in Supply Chains Act
Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the United Kingdom (UK) Modern Slavery Act 2015 for SharkNinja Europe Ltd and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act for SharkNinja Midco LLC (collectively “SharkNinja”). This statement is for the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 unless indicated otherwise.
About SharkNinja
SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company that creates innovative 5-star rated lifestyle solutions for consumers around the world. We have built two billion-dollar brands across 36 sub-categories. Our leadership spans household product categories such as Cleaning, Cooking and Beverage, Food Preparation, and Beauty and Home Environment.
SharkNinja employs approximately 3,600 team members in 28 offices worldwide as of 31 December 2024.
Our Supply Chain
Our products are manufactured by OEMs in China and Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia). In certain cases, we directly source components and own specific tooling and equipment used in assembly.
Purpose, Values, and Commitment
Our mission is to positively impact people’s lives in every home globally. We ensure safety, wellbeing, and human rights across our supply chain, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward slavery and human trafficking.
These expectations are detailed in our Supplier Ethics Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct. In 2024, we adopted a Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy aligned with EU Regulation 2023/1542 and Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Verification and Certification of Product Supply Chains
OEMs must acknowledge our Supplier Code of Conduct and ensure its communication to their suppliers. This Code strictly prohibits slavery and human trafficking.
Internal Accountability
Governance is overseen by our social compliance team. Associates receive mandatory training on ethics, anti-harassment, anti-bribery, and conflict of interest. We enhanced hotline accessibility and awareness in 2024, requiring posting in OEM locations globally.
Supplier Training and Capacity Building
OEMs undergo onboarding social compliance training. In April and September 2024, SharkNinja hosted social compliance summits with OEMs to ensure policy alignment and reinforce Supplier Code of Conduct requirements.
Auditing
We conduct both internal and third-party audits (including unannounced) to monitor OEM compliance. In 2024, third-party audits covered 25% of OEMs and found high compliance with no zero-tolerance violations.
All OEMs must undergo annual SMETA audits. Findings may result in Corrective Action Plans and, if needed, sanctions. We track OEM resolution efforts closely.
We also operate due diligence for responsible mineral sourcing and participate in the Responsible Minerals Initiative.
